GALLO Michele

Nel 1995 ha conseguito la laurea in Economia e Commercio e, nel 1999, il dottorato in Total Quality Management presso l'Università di Napoli Federico II. Da ottobre 2020 è Professore Ordinario di Statistica nel Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali all'Università di Napoli L’Orientale, dove insegna metodi statistici per studenti magistrali. Dal 2024 è membro del Consiglio di Amministrazione dell'Università di Napoli L’Orientale e membro del Comitato Direttivo della Società Italiana di Statistica. In precedenza, è stato Professore Associato di Statistica nel Dipartimento di Scienze Umane e Sociali (ex Facoltà di Scienze Politiche) da gennaio 2005 a dicembre 2011, e Ricercatore di Statistica nella Facoltà di Scienze Politiche. Da novembre 2000 a dicembre 2001, è stato Assistente Ricercatore nei Metodi Statistici per il Total Quality Management nel Dipartimento di Scienze Matematiche e Statistiche presso l'Università di Napoli Federico II. Presso l'Università di Napoli L’Orientale, Michele Gallo ha coordinato il corso di laurea triennale in Scienze Politiche e Relazioni Internazionali (L-36) da novembre 2012 a ottobre 2016 e il dottorato in Istituzioni, Diritto ed Economia dei Servizi Pubblici da novembre 2008 a ottobre 2014. Ha anche ricoperto la carica di Delegato del Rettore per l'Orientamento e i Servizi di Tutorato per gli Studenti da gennaio 2020 a dicembre 2022. Ha inoltre servito come Presidente del Centro di Servizi Interdipartimentali per la Telematica e l'Informatica da gennaio 2007 a dicembre 2011 e come Responsabile della Qualità per la Ricerca Scientifica da giugno 2004 a dicembre 2010. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca includono l'analisi dei dati multivariata, l'analisi tensoriale, l'analisi composizionale, l'analisi di Rasch e la statistica applicata.
