I poemi dell’appartenenza di Miloš Crnjanski

I present here my own versions of the three long poems and three short poems of the great Serbian poet M. Crnjanski (1893-1977), a translation work resulting from a long “conversation” with the writer and related critical literature. Crnjanski’s poetic opus represents an essential stage in the history of Serbian poetry of the twentieth century and it is closely interrelated, both on a thematic and formal level, with his works in prose of the same periods. Translations are followed by short notes, to make easier for the Italian reader to understand some elements in the texts.
