The aim of the article is to contribute to the debate on the new perspectives assumed by international mi- grations in the Italian context after the increase in flows. The focus will be on the contradictions and tensions that occur in the places of arrival of asylum seekers, with the exemple of an area, the district of Central Station of Naples, which has long been a crossroads of multicultural confrontation and clash.
