"L'Avaro" di Marino Darsa Raguseo

The “most Ragusean” comedy of the Croatian playwright Marin Držić (Marino Darsa, Ragusa 1508- Venice 1567) is introduced in the context of the author’s production, underlining the relationships with classical theatre, with Humanistic-Renaissance culture and with 1500s Ragusean reality.
