NOTARO GIUSEPPINA

Giuseppina Notaro is Associate Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Naples L'Orientale. She works on contemporary Spanish literature, and in particular on the study of Spanish Republican exile writers in France, and the theme of the Shoah in contemporary novelas. She is currently taking an interest in the theme of the relationship between secularism and confessionality in contemporary Spanish literature, particularly the work of the priest writer Pablo d'Ors, and the theme of silence declined in different fields of study. He edited "Writing Elsewhere. Exile in Hispanic Literature", "Caminos de imperfección. Laicidad y confesionalidad en la Europa contemporánea", "Il silenzio e le forme. Modelli e rappresentazione nelle letterature europee moderne", and published the volume "Tre voci dell'esilio spagnolo: Jorge Semprún, Agustín Gómez-Arcos, Ramón Chao", as well as several articles and essays in journals and volumes. He has participated in numerous national and international conferences.
