“Facere cessare mirabilia rerum: magia e scienza naturale nel «De mirabilibus mundi»”,

The aim of my work is to recall the attention on the Prologue of De mirabilibus mundi, an anomimous text of the 13th century concerning natural magic and medicine. The “mirabilia” are secrets of nature and they are explained by causal mechanisms of different types, such the doctrine of “similitudo” .
