Abstract:
The article aims to explore the role of Carolina Bonaparte, queen
of Naples, analyzing, starting from a broad reference framework that also takes into account the international dimension, her ability to intervene, directly or indirectly, in the definition of geo-politics of the Italian peninsula, and coming to reflect on the European queenship, both from the point of view of the concrete exercise of power, and with respect to the relationship between representation and self-representation of power and the dialectic between the public and private dimensions.
