Il nuovo 'Meister Elucidarius'. Un Volksbuch

The work is based on one of the press editions of the German Lucidarius, at the time already famous as Volksbuch. The translation of the text assumes the characters of a critical edition because it is based on the manuscript and the press version of the German text. To the translation it has been premised a wide and exaustive introduction to the text history, its great variety of textual changes and interlacements - both in horizontal or vertical way - until its last version in 1806
