This interview aims at focusing a series of evolutionary, ethical, communicative and political issues about the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Professor Telmo Pievani discusses the evolutionary causes of the phenomenon and how this pandemic is a lesson in humility for Homo sapiens. He thinks in terms of ethics of foresight, and does not spare criticism of the “asphyxiated and culturally inadequate politics”, emphasising the need for environmental justice to represent justice tout court.
