The Nubian and Pharaonic Ceramic Materials

abstract:
The contribution consists of the description and classification of the Nubian and Pharaonic ceramic materials from the CeRDO survey in the Sudanese Eastern Desert. The materials date from the Prehistory (ca 5th millennium BC) to the Late Antique times (ca. 3rd-5th centuries AD). Some insights into the human occupation of the region are also provided on the basis of the studied materials.
