Dopo i fatti napoletani del 15 maggio 1848. Vicende giudiziarie ed indagini di alta polizia a confronto

The essay analyses the investigations carried out in the Kingdom of Two Sicilies on the revolutionary events of the 15th May 1848 and reflects on both the results reached by the police and those ones obtained by the judicial inquiry. At the same time, arguing the idea of the bourbon repressive system handed down by the liberal coeval writers, who described investigations compromised by abuses and irregularities, the essay attempts to understand the whole of political reasons that actually prevented the identification of the responsible people as well as the logic of prosecution and control belonging to the bourbon institutions.
