Problemi di filologia etiopica. In margine alla recente edizione del Gädlä Samu’el zä-Waldəbba

The recently published edition of the long recension of the Vita and the Miracles of abunä Samu’el of Waldǝbba (or Gädamä Wali) is here reviewed in detail. The contribution of an Ethiopian printed edition of the hagiographic dossier is discussed, and a repertory of lexical and narrative issues arising from the text is dealt with and commented.
