Józef I. Kraszewski i jego relacje z literatami włoskimi

Kraszewski's liaisons with Italy, after his journeys are imprinted on his writings. Also, they were visible owing to his personal relations with the Italian intellectual élite of that time. This friendliness, and in some cases, even friendship was reciprocal, of which numerous echoes were found in the press. Kraszewski had a wide acquaintance among the Polish community abroad and Italian correspondents alike. They were all authentic ambassadors of Kraszewski in Italy. They contributed to popularizing the exceptional work of Kraszewski, which, like his life, was closely connected with Italy. This shows a thread of mutual liking of Kraszewski towards Italy, and Belpaese towards the Polish writer. The sympathy was expressed in respectful words and friendly gestures towards Kraszewski in the Italian press. All this enhanced the Italian-Polish bond and fraternity in the fight for common ideals.
