Geografie delle migrazioni internazionali nel Mediterraneo: l’Italia nei nuovi scenari

This contribution aims to summarize the most recent migratory events
that interested the Mediterranean area and, in particular, Italy: especially, it focuses
on the emerging actors and protagonists of those ongoing processes. In consideration
of the above, the article outlines the configuration of a new migratory system,
articulated between and beyond the local and the global, that need to be analysed
through new interpretative tools and in a transcalar perspective.
