This book is an analysis of Silla's history and culture seen through the Sui-jon (Unusual facts), an ancient Korean text. The Sui-jon is virtually lost, but it can be partially reconstructed thanks to some fragments reported in later works. The final part of he book also contains the first translation of the Sui-jon in the western world, made by the author.
