Afterlife

The issue discusses and introduces the Muslim beliefs regarding afterlife. A first part is devoted to the rich Qur'an images regarding afterlife and eternal abodes, then the late traditions regarding the topic are dealt with. In the second part of the contribute polemical questions connected to the eschatological themes and the specific literary genre devoted to the topic are briefly reviewed.
