Abstract:
The article is dealing with a particular finds of 7 big vessels of the Villanova-type urns found in the South-eastern Hungary in the excavation by the Italian Archaeological Mission in that country of Gyoma 133 site. The site located on the border of a clay cave utilised by a not anymore existing pottery manufacture was partially destroyed by this industrial activity and was told to be located on the remains of a not anymore existing kurgan of Scythian time: Csap halom in hungarian language. The Urns mostly fragmented and reconstructed represent the typical urn-type of vessels of Late Bronze and Early Iron Age belonging to the so-called Gava Culture.
