Articolo
Data di Pubblicazione:
1993
Abstract:
The article is presenting some elements of a set of 4 different silver and golden belts present in the National Museum of Oriental Art in Rome. The author is emphasizing in the text the strong stylistic and technical connection between that set of belts and the numerous other similar stray finds coming from Eastern Europe. The main point is the chronological collocation to the 7th century AD, which is commonly defined the "late Sasanian period", which put a bridge between two metal production generally considered compeletely separated.
