Mencaleny and Usung Bayung Marang: On a Kenyah language documentation project in East Kalimantan

This paper is a report on the documentation of two Kenyah varieties carried on with the help of UNESCO language endagerement project. A detailed description of the stories and the informants involved gives an idea of the great deal of commitment of the researcher and of the local community.
