"The Italian periphery in the plural form: the case of Naples"

The aim of this article is to undertake a synthetic study of the fringe
situations in the province of Naples, which here are understood as places
with a concentration of urban problems and are located both close to the
centre and out in the suburbs. In Naples as elsewhere in Italy, the
periphery possesses different forms.
