New Digital Resources for Hittitology and Related Fields

The note highlights the emergence of two new digital resources for Hittitology and related fields within the central hub represented by the Hethitologie-Portal Mainz, namely the section “Texts of the Hittites” (in particular the subsection “Festival Rituals”) and the research tool “Thesaurus Linguarum Hethaeorum digitalis”. The significance of these resources for classicists, linguists, and anyone interested in direct access to Hittite and other Anatolian sources is emphasized. By improving accessibility and enabling sophisticated text analysis, these tools have the potential to bridge the gap between primary evidence and scholarly interpretations, ultimately fostering collaboration across disciplines.
