In line with the objectives set out in the individual programs, at end of course, attending and non-attending students must demonstrate that they have sufficiently learned the main lines of Aesthetics as discussed in the course. The course aims to provide students with criticalmethodological knowledge and tools for understanding the main themes of Aesthetics to the formation of the notion of subjectivity in Western culture. In addition, the course aims to develop: advanced specific and historical-philosophical skills in the field of Aesthetics, for the purposes of teaching and promoting Italian musical culture; the ability to contextualize historically and within the discipline; ability to integrate information in different historical periods; ability to report with a degree of autonomy data and content, using the tools of the discipline. students should demonstrate sufficient fluency and clarity in the course topics. Particular attention will be given to the mastery of the terminology specific to the discipline as well as the use of the Italian language.
Attending and non-attending students must have sufficient in-depth knowledge of general culture in European and especially Italian (ancient and modern) on the example of those resulting from the study of manuals: historical chronology/periodization, currents of thought, elevant authors.
Students are expected to participate actively with lectures on course topics and exchanges of ideas, such as on-the-spot goal tests.
The exam consists in the oral examination of the knowledge acquired by the student during the course and in the personal study of the texts in the program. Language in which the exam takes place: Italian. Evaluation criteria: modality, completeness, consistency in the exposition, analytical, synthetic and in-depth skills, relating of concepts, correct use of specific terminology, ability to move in the historical periodization, correct use of the Italian language.
