Acquisition of solid oral and written competence, lexical, morphological and phonological mastery in understanding, analyzing and producing complex texts belonging to different fields.
The course is intended for students who have already acquired sufficient language skills (phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactic) to enable them to carry out an analysis of a syntactically complex Dutch text, as well as to express critical comments independently both orally and written by using appropriate registers.
Lingua Nederlandese I is propaedeutic to Lingua Nederlandese II.
The lessons will be integrated with seminars with Italian and foreign teachers, translation workshops with Flemish and Dutch writers, individual and group research, practical exercises focused on linguistic analysis and translation of selected pages, and guided use of dictionaries and printed and electronic resources in Dutch.
The exam consists of a written test and an oral test, with conversation and discussion of an individual project. Language of the exam: Dutch.
Assessment criteria: assessment of knowledge acquired through the course and the teaching materials provided, relating to certain relevant linguistic structures and various significant aspects of Flemish and Dutch literary and artistic culture.
