The educational path of the teaching intends to provide students with the knowledge and methodological tools necessary for reading, textual analysis, critical commentary. The student must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the issues related to the topics covered during the course.
PREREQUISITES
1st year: none;
3rd year: having passed Portuguese and Brazilian Literature 1 and 2.
PROPAEDEUTICS
The following propaedeutic rules are foreseen: it is not possible to access the foreign language and foreign literature exams of the current year if both the foreign language and foreign literature exams of the previous year have not been passed.
The teaching activity includes 54 hours of classroom lessons.
The exam is divided into the following tests: Oral

Language in which the exam is held: Italian or english or portuguese
The course aims to reflect on forms, genres and authors of Portuguese literature (13th-16th centuries) and Brazilian literature (16th-19th centuries).
The acquisition of different methodological and analytical approaches, together with the assimilation of the contents described below, constitutes the main educational objective of the course.
