"Diari dal fronte: migranti e ricerca empirica"

The phenomenon of international migration is a field of studies that often uses the tools of empirical resarch. This article recounted and evaluated the differents phases of empirical resarch according the autor's experience. In particular, the article aims to illustrate the relevance of yhe analysis pf statistical data and construction of a "logbook" but also the risk of sampling and identification of witnesses,in an attempt to bring out the peculiarity of the geographical discipline in this field of resarch.
