Abstract:
In the present day teaching environment, the necessity to work towards meaningful and rewarding achievements is often felt by both teachers and students. This may mean that changes in the traditional curriculum are necessary.
This paper examines the development of good teaching practices, which have resulted from the combination of Action Research techniques, student involvement in decision making and encouragement of student motivation. It reports the transformation of a traditional teaching/learning routine into a relevant training for life. The contents of this article derive from a one-year school project in an Italian Technical Secondary School.
