Abstract:
Between 2010 and 2021, 462 people who were Muslim, mostly from Morocco, passed away in the Campania region. In this article, I have attempted to ascertain whether the right of Muslims to appropriate burial sites in accordance with Islamic requirements has been fulfilled in the region. The article is divided in two parts. The first part delves into the regulations outlined by selected Muslim jurists concerning the manner and place of burial. In the second part, a descriptive analysis was conducted to ascertain the extent to which Muslims in Campania to adhere to the aforementioned regulations.
