The research project analyzes the evolution of Italian communities in the United States, examining the connections between long-established Italian-American groups, recent waves of skilled migrants, and the emergence of a digital "Italian-speaking sphere" that functions as a transnational space for cultural production and communication. Employing an interdisciplinary approach, the study focuses on Texas and New York City as case studies.
