Ancient Koreans and Xiongnu: What Was The Nature of Their Relationship?

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2009
abstract:
Today's scholarship considers the Xiongnu culture a subject of Central Asian studies, and Korean culture, a subject of Far East Asian studies. Nevertheless, in this paper, supported by an extensive bibliography including even Greek and Latin sources, the author proposes the attractive hypothesis of a primitive identity between ancient Koreans and Xiongnu. This article actually is a study aiming to open an academic debated able to help overcome the obstacle of interdisciplinary barriers.
