abstract:
Recent tendencies in language teaching stress the importance of delayed production and put great emphasis on listening and phonology. The article addresses the problems that language teachers encounter when teaching phonology. It reports on those comments that have been voiced during several teacher-training seminars and offers practical suggestions.
