abstract:
Writing about beauty today, while ugliness keeps the world suspended and surprised can seem like
a stretch, if not an outrage to suffering. However, sometimes reflecting on beauty occasions, on possible
conceptual and experiential assumptions that lie at the basis of the idea of beauty and on the advantages that
derive from it, can be a good way to avoid letting ugliness dominate consciences and human lives.
