This article analyses Kai Donner's (1888-1935) three Uralic etymologies: hakata 'to hew'; huosia 'cleaning swift' and tiiti 'Sperling', which appear in his manuscript meant to be published on E.N. Setàlà's 50th birthday never issued, however.
