Hebrew Inscriptions of the 9th Century from the Trinity Church in Venosa This article analyzes five Hebrew epitaphs found in the Old Church of the Trinity in Venosa. It documents their history and the story of their discovery, as well their content and other textual information. Of these five inscriptions, three have been published in recent decades; one was already known, but has long gone missing; and one is published here for the first time.
