37 ancient Near Eastern Seals form the collection of the Università degli Studi di Napoli L'Orientale. Purchased in the mid-1960s by Giovanni Garbini they were gifted to the University by him. The seals are quite diverse in type (cylinder and stamp seals), date (from Akkad to Sasanian period), material, and culture-geographical origin.
