What is the link between history and poetry according to its stylistic features? Poetic expression has been influenced and reshaped by the current historical phase. Form and style show evidence of a constant change in poetic writing. Prose poetry and suggest an urgency of the poet to take up the role of a storyteller, bridging the gap between his individual experience and the others. Poems describe daily life, memories, hope and despair, connecting the present with the past and the future and reshaping historical time in a way that challenges linearity
