abstract:
The paper aims at analysing the link between urban regeneration, consumption and tourism at the Mediterranean scale. Focusing in particular on the cities of Southern Europe and examining a range of narratives on their post-industrial transition, the paper considers two phenomena in order to interpret the most recent changes: the brandification and eventification of their Mediterranean cityscapes.
