Narrazioni televisive: analisi multimodale del discorso di una serie TV

The paper proposes a multimodal discourse analysis framework for studying Chinese TV drama, arguing that serial narratives cannot be reduced to mere propaganda tools but must be understood as culturally embedded texts. This approach is applied to the anti-corruption serial In the Name of the People (2017), demonstrating how the narrative builds emotional identification while ultimately reinforcing state legitimacy.
