abstract:
This paper aims to trace the elements of continuity between the work of Roberto Bolaño and that of Mariana Enriquez. To this end, we propose an approach centered on the reading experience, particularly in the elaboration of an individual process that later becomes a communal discourse. Through Wolfgang Iser's theory of reception and the concept of “de-appropriation” and “necro-writing” elaborated by Cristina Rivera Garza in Los muertos indóciles, this article links Bolaño's proposal (in particular from 2666) and Mariana Enriquez, with the reading experience and contemporary concerns, in search of the elements that make these works a privileged form of literary expression in the 21st century.
