"Some Ways to Express Homesickness in Korean Classical Poetry"

This article takes into examination, by means of a textual analysis, the concept of "homesickness" as it is expressed in Korean classical poetry from the 8th to the Choson period. In particular, the absence of a precise word indicating "homesickness" is noticed. The concept of homesickness is then expressed by means of rethoric periphrases aimed to exalt, apart from the state of mind, also the poetical skill of the authors.
