abstract:
This volume focuses on the formation of and change in international and domestic governance caused by the increase of migrants from interdisciplinary perspectives particularly of International Relations. Changes of environment on international migration are investigated through analysis of south Asian refugees, highly conservative orientation of the Trump administration in the US, national and regional governance on international migration, and also survey on the serious situation of refugees in the Mediterranean (including the Balkans) particularly after the Arab Spring, delving into the rise of cultural conflicts and welfare chauvinism in the EU. The book is seeking for proper circumstances in Asia-Pacific and Europe, as well as formation and change of global governance on migration and its surrounded norms, including perspectives on cleavage between the North and the South.
