Collection of critical editions of a series of treatises 'De littera', partly unedited and possibly produced in an 'insular' milieu in pre-carolingian and carolingian age (VIIth to IXth century) as elementary latin texts for monastic schools. Commentary and introduction on each text, with analysis of different typologies, research on cultural background and settlement of credible chronology and localization.
