Il poeta e l'ineffabile. Le odi spirituali di G.R. Derzhavin

The book revolver around one of the most representative Eighteenth century Russian poets, G.R. Derzhavin, chiefly focusing on a specific literary genre, the spiritual ode. It analyses the poet’s most popular works, like the ode “Bog” (God), together with the less known ones. There are no monographs on this subject published in Italy. The appendix collects all the odes written by Derzhavin, includine the paraphrases of the psalms.
