Historicky prezens v soucasne cestine: moznosti a meze jeho jazykovych a konunikativnich funkci

This study contains a detailed analysis of the uses of the historical present, based on the data provided by the representative 100 million representative corpus SYN2000 from the Institute of the Czech National Corpus in Prague. Significant differences from the point of view of aspectual and temporal opposition allow to distinguish the model of the register present from the literary and spoken historical present.
