La certificazione dei diamanti grezzi secondo il processo di Kimberley: poche luci e molte ombre

abstract:
The Kimberley Process is a joint governments, industry and civil society initiative aimed at stemming the flow of "conflict diamonds". It created the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), an international certification scheme for rough diamonds. Although this mechanism brought large volumes of diamonds onto the legal market and increased the revenues of poor governments, it wasn't successful in curbing the illicit trade in conflict diamonds.
