Autorappresentazione e rappresentazione dei Nubiani nell’arte egiziana e nell’arte rupestre del Sahara Orientale: alcune riflessioni

In the article the icononography of the Nubians on Egyptian First Intermediate Period and Middle Kingdom representations is compared with some rock-art representations in Western Desert. Remarks on the use of Nubian soldiers to partol the deserts and on the consideration they had as hunters and warriors are proposed.
