Il diritto umano universale a un ambiente sano: recenti (e futuri) sviluppi

In July 2022, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution recognising the «right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment» as a «human right». This article examines the legal implications (de lege lata and de lege ferenda) associated with the right to a healthy environment in the light of both the States’ duty to protect human rights and the enterprises’ responsibility to respect human rights.
