Abstract:
Description and quantitative study of the exotic materials from the Gash Group assemblages (ca. 2700-1800 BC) at the site of Mahal Teglinos (Kassala, Sudan). Some more general remarks on the long-dostance exchange networks and the relavance of Kush in Upper Nubia are proposed on the basis of the quantitative studies.
