Abstract:
The article deals with the iconography of some ivory and mica decorative elements which were originally fixed on furnuiture and textiles from Kerma, Upper Nubia and dating to 2000-1400 BC. These element are discussed in the context of our present knowledge of the Kerma religion and state ideology.
