Adulis before Aksum? Possible 2nd and 1st millennium BC Evidence from the Site of the Ancient Port

In this paper some finds likely dating to the 2nd and 1st millennium BC from the site of Adulis (Eritrea) are discussed. The finds throw new light on the earliest phases of the site whose importance is well known for Late Antique times.
