Letteratura contemporanea e premi letterari in Francia. Per una prima ricognizione dei principali premi francesi e della loro eco nel contesto editoriale italiano

Thi article presents the preliminary results of a research conducted by the Dopo il primato group, within the framework of the Osservatorio sul romanzo contemporaneo. The main goal of the group is to examine the trends, privileged genre and authors of contemporary French literature from 2000 to 2023, in the system of literary prize that have great impact
in the French and francophone cultural landscape. Afer a contextualisation of the field of study and a reflection on the importance of French literary prize in the contemporary panorama, the article examine individual prize, looking first at the French publishing context and then at the reception of prize-winning authors in Italy. Finally, the article conclude with a summary of the results obtained by cross-referencing the data and with some proposals for the interpretation of these results, indicating perspective of qualitative research for the future work of the project
